part of the barn will be a garage for the tractors and whatever we need to keep under cover, it will be 24 x32, the barn side will have to stalls and a small tack room and will be 16 x32 and the upstairs will be open for storage and maybe a wood shop someday.

Rob, What a nice looking structure. I'm really envious of your horses. Looks like they'll get heated floors -- I couldn't afford that for myself! Of course, there may be a difference in NH versus SC winters. . . .

the knee walls are shorter, probably because the ceiling is standard height in the barn side and on the garage side its almost 11 feet. even though the barn side has the piping in the floor for heat , they won't be having it. its there for when the animals are gone and it turn into garage space.

Really likin your build. Did you build the doors? Especially like the double sliding with the windows.Got more pics of them being built or can you describe the construction? Are those 1x or 2x tongue and grove boards.

I did a 0.5" x 1.5" painted trim between my colour change at the 4' mark, used a contrasting accent colour, and it made a HUGE improvement in the look of the garage. I'd recommend something similar, a black stripe would be a safe choice...
