I am going to be getting a building from diypolebarns as well. How do you like yours this far? It looks like you put 110 plugs across your ceiling to plug in your lights, any reason why you didnt hard wire the lights in?

T0B: at the rate you are going i half expected you to have the garage fully insulated. the lights look great.

I think you said the cement guys were coming back to pour the pad in front of the garage this week or was that after new years?

looks great. is the floor still crack free?

Everything is still crack free. The pad will get poured after the new year.

DIY pole barns is a great company to deal with. They go the extra mile and really look out for the customer. The lights I have already had plugs on them so I figured it would be easier to leave them as they were. That way if I have to replace a light I can take it down in a snap.

I have been talking to diy for a while now and I am pretty happy with what I have been getting from them. I had planned on getting my barn this past summer but life got in the way.

I picked up a bunch of lights from Costco and they also have plugs on them. They are LED tube lights and I have been debating on whether to install outlets and plug them in or to chop the plug off and hardwire them.

Picked up a small compressor this evening. I wanted something different and more expensive but after I thought about it, This one will do fine for what I will use it for.

Threw together a quick work bench this afternoon. The top isn't attached yet because I'm going to router the edges. The lumber was left over from the build and I had to buy a piece of plywood so I have about thirty bucks in it.:D

The flag was correct hanging the other way

When displayed either horizontally or vertically against a wall, the union should be uppermost and to the flag's own right, that is, to the observer's left. When displayed in a window it should be displayed in the same way, that is with the union or blue field to the left of the observer in the street.

If you rotated the flag either way the stars would be in the wrong place.

Dude.:rolleyes2

We caught a decent day weather wise and decided to pour the skirt. Just my luck the driver stalled the truck and couldn't get it to restart. After about an hour they figured out it was the battery. My concrete guy didn't want to use the concrete in the truck so they only got half of it done. They will bring me more concrete on Friday.

They were able to finish the skirt yesterday. Now I can get back started on the inside. I need to get the building sealed up, insulated and heated. Still don't know exactly what direction I'm going to go with that.

How did that sealer work out on the floor? I sealed mine and i hate it.Everything eats it,gas, brake cleaner, you name it,everything softens it up and your shoes stick to it.Nice build, like the colors.

It sealed it but it fades or wears over time. The floor looks totally different now.

I've enjoyed reading through your thread and you have a great looking shed! I'm interested to see how you insulated it? I have a 36x36 pole barn that still needs to be insulated but I can't decide on what the best way would be for me. Can't wait to see some more pics!
