So I've been going back and forth with a few pole barn companies that sell kits and I'm kind of stuck. I want to be able to submit the plans to my town for approval before I purchase said kit. I get it, these companies make all their money on their small margins on materials and selling their plans would hurt their business model.
What if I just purchases engineered plans, then sourced my own materials and either put the building up myself or hire a local builder to put it up? The person who I have doing my site work already said they will pour the footings and pour the piers with wet set brackets.
So is there anyone who just sells engineered pole barn garage plans? I'm drawing the building up in CAD right now but I'm not an engineer and don't know the proper truss spacing and post spacing.
