Hows it going, looking to see what i may be missing for this "Mechanic" garage.

I have a couple of stipulations based on what my HOA allows:
Max 32x32 Sized
Cant have ridge higher than the house (luckily im on a walkout basement and house ridge is at 32'
Has to have premium exterior

I have had a Architect and Engineer create and stamp these drawings for the baseline, but wanted to see what else i could do to improve it for functionality. We are converting the under-home garage into two extra bedrooms so this will need to house my projects and also be functional.

Work that will be taking place in the garage:
Restoration of a 87 Monte Carlo
Building/maintenance a 04 Cobra Turbo LS Car
Building friends matching 03 GT Turbo LS Car
General Maintenance on all of our vehicles
Some smaller projects here and there.

Im planning on a 4 post stacker on the smaller bay (Left Side) and a 2 post on the right side where most of the nitty gritty will happen. My plan is to house my workbench and welding table in a L Shape along the back wall near the stairs, and other infrequently used tools stored in my 12x16 lofted shed. Loft will be primarily used as a man cave/car part storage.

Plans attached.

Well, I'd add foam insulation under slab if you're heating it.

Good looking building! Look forward to seeing progress.

Good call, i am planning to add heat/air so i will look into the foam insulation under the slab.
