I figured I would drop some pics of the build we did in spring of 2017. I had an amish crew do the building and concrete. I did the electrical, water, and radiant heat. All LED lighting
Size is 32x48x12 and its 18x48x7-1/2 attic truss upstairs.
Our property has creek that runs behind the building and a pretty steep hillside that goes to the creek. Wish I could of done a little bigger but I was simply out of room.
If I could of changed a few things it would of been with the lower level window height and raised them up another 12 inches or so as normal height tool boxes and benches do not fit under them. Also the landing of steps could of been pushed back another two feet but it does not bother me that much.
As a first timer to radiant floor heating I used https://www.radiantec.com/ and sourced all the pieces from them. I know I could of sourced the parts and found them cheaper but I was hoping that I would get the tech support I needed if questions came up.
For the most part they have been able to answer most of my questions but I only have about 75% positive feeling on this system. Being that I only used it now for about two months I am still figuring things out on how it wants to be operated.
The up stairs still needs to be finished and will be my 2018 project as it serves for my wood working area.
If you have any questions feel free to ask
