3328 wire for gas furnace

Woke up this morning to my furnace deciding that the bearings in the fan motor were tired after 50+ years of reliable service.

I bought a new motor from a local electrical supply, but the wires that are attached (red, green, white 18 gauge) are shorter than what I need.

I assume that I can **** connect them to additional wire, but 3228 seems to be an unusual item. Any suggestions on where to search for that kind of wire in small quantities (less than 3 feet)? Hate to buy a spool if I don't have to.

Oem motors you can't look at hp have to look at name plate amps if factory amps are 4.1 for a 1/3 hp and a aftermarket motor is 4.0 go to a half hp same on condenser fan motors.

I've never knowingly used anything labeled UL 3328 for 35+ years. Just the THHN off the spools on the truck...
