We moved from NY to SC about a month ago. Six months prior to our move I began buying Sears craftsman cabinets and having them delivered to the new home. Essentially my cabinets moved before I did.! I also went from a one car garage in NY where I couldn't open both doors on my car because it was so tight, to a two car 19 x 23 garage. Not the biggest but a big upgrade for me. I'm still trying to come up with a colot scheme, probably the gray, red/black stripe, yada yada, :D and I have a few samples of Swisstrax coming.

The Craftsman tool box was a birthday gift from my grandfather about 10 years ago. I painted the drawers in Rustoleum semi gloss black to match the rest of the new Craftsman stuff:spit:

I knew I needed a second big cabinet and just needed to save for it, Christmas gift cards, cash, coupons and begging, I managed to finally get it.

This is it for now, a few skinned knuckles but all went together well, I still have to put together the 26" upper cabinets and get some VersaTrack!

I really like the CM red/black look. I've been collecting half price deals for the last year on the cabinetry, SS tops, stools etc. in anticipation that my garage gets built soon (almost done!).
My only fear is that I'll open a box and it will be missing a panel, and I've owned it for months. I suppose I can figure a way to get it warrantied somehow...but hopefully it will all be there as you found it too.
Thanks for posting your pictures.

Thank you all for the compliments:thumbup: Next step is to do the dirty work of fixing some dings in the walls and painting ( I Hate painting!), then i hope to order a new floor. I'm still waiting on the Swisstrax sample and I'm looking at racedeck too. I have decided on a Freeflow/Ribtrax type tile.

To answer the question, the cabinets are suprisingly sturdy. The Two big cabinets are right next to my car so I was quite nervous about how stable they are. I tried to tip one by pulling and pushing on it modestly and they are really balanced and sturdy. You would have to really try to push it over. The bottom "shelf support" is very strong and thick, the area where the feet screw in is reinforced and has strong welds. I don't think adding a good caster would be any problem at all.

That is excellant to know, I love the setup and want to do something similar only I want to have the ability to rearrange the shop whenever it is convenient or neccasary. Thank you for your honest reply.

Very Small Update, I got a 30 ft Craftsman extension cord reel, (really tired of winding them by hand as I get older and Lazy-er!) A fire extinguisher, A few pictures on the wall, although I'm not sure if they are staying in the current location and Finally got some VersaTrac and hung my upper cabinets. Now comes the fun of patching and paint!:bounce:
