Above 1200 Sq/FT 36 x 40 Black Ceiling Pole Barn in NY

This project took forever and with everything Covid related it was a “touch” over budget. It’s done now and wanted to share what I did. Wasn’t looking for an all white interior, I had that before I wanted a place to work and hangout. I only hit one rock, but it was stubborn!

I paid the Amish to side and put up the structure since I was a one man crew. I already had the site prepared and ready so two days later I started doing the interior, electric, insulation and everything else.
My only helper!!
It sounds ridiculous but it took me like 20 days to just get this ceiling in. Working bye yourself is bananas time consuming. I basically did the wiring as I went sine it was freezing and getting dark a 4pm

Now for these best part! They messed up all the flooring in my house (being built at the same time) which let me oversee that project while I worked on mine 100’ away. I basically made an accent wall behind where the benches go. Wish I saved more of it because it came out nice. The problem is putting up 4’ x 10’ pieces of glued together oak flooring was difficult, Extremely Difficult!
And Bang it’s done! 6 months after I dug the hole.
Don’t ask about the white doors…. It’s all I could get that didn’t have an 8 month leadtime.
