stopped by Goodwill tonight, 25% off seniors day . Picked up these linesmen pliers scuffed up a bit but not beat up.
for $2.99less 25% ( $2.49 ) couldn't pass them up .
also got a pair of BBQ tongs , my favourite kind, never thought I'd see another set. is 3 too many to have?

Not to steal your thunder but I got a similar pair a while back from an electrical supply house that was closing. Spotted them behind the register and asked the guy “how much?”

He slid them across the counter and said “those have been here ever since I started working … you can have them.”

I emailed Channellock for the manufacturing date and they said 1988-1993, or thereabouts. I’ve been using them after my last pair of Kleins wore out and they have been great.

Great score on the tools. Cobbler. There’s a chain of thrift stores I visit. Sometimes they have good price and other times not.
