OK hello everyone...wifey and I bought 17 acres and currently building a house. That is going as planned.

We have a carport for the 2 cars so the 36x36 will be dedicated work space, workout space, storage and a 2 post lift.

I just need some ideas on where to place garage doors. I like the drive thru option 2 doors on each end, but that might not be the best for a lift. We will have a 8' x 36' foot lean to for a tractor and implements on the back side. I would also like to put a 8' x 12' lean to for the walk door. Any suggestions to optimize interior space appreciated.

congrats on the new place. if I were in your shoes I would not have a door in the back wall. I feel you lose valuable space for things like tool boxes , work bench etc. with a " drive thru " set up you have to line your equipment along the walls for the most part. I personally prefer my tool box and work bench at the back so when i pull in everything is right in front of me ready to go.
