I'm looking to build a garage and getting quotes from a ICF Quad-Lock dealer (local) and a SIP Raycore. The ICF is setup to run from the footer to the truss for a total wall height of 16' (4" in ground). The SIP would sit on top of a foundation. From a cost standpoint I think the ICF would be the way to go and maybe use the SIP for the roof.
I have a quote from the Quad-Lock rep for about $14k which includes all the ICF forms, cross ties, inside and outside corner brackets, base track, wire top ties, and he said I could use his metal bracing. I'm waiting on a updated quote from Raycore.
It looking like I will be able to keep the cost under $35k with freinds and I doing some of the labor. Here are some pictures of the location:
