36x50 barn build (not a kit)

I know people love seeing builds. I started this last build last fall. The trusses are of course engineered. Posts are UC4B treated in ground 4’. 18” holes with 6” of concrete pored at the bottom. Posts were back filled and packed with the dirt from the holes. I’m going a hair over budget, but I should be all in with concrete around $22k. Will upload a detailed parts list with pricing when get a chance.

I still have the back end siding to put up as well as the back roll up.

Fill dirt is going to be a bear. Right now it’s looking like I’m going to need 80+ tons. I plan on putting up a retaining wall on the overhang side of the barn. It’s going to get interesting soon.

That's a bit change with the floor poured! Now the real fun starts with the battle between wanting to move in vs trying to get it done before it fills up and you can't move around

It's just single bubble insulation. Unfortunately, the foil tape didn't do it's job so I now have the task of taping all of the seams from underneath. It's only purpose is to keep the roof from condensing on the inside...which so far it has done well, even with the gaps.

It's amazing how much water the roof sheds when it rains. Gutters are now a necessity to keep things under control.
