Absoulutely beautiful. That is a huge door too, love the design in the walkway.

It sounds like Morton does a good job . I am considering them for a 40x50 build. How thick did you go with the concrete inside? Are there plans for a lift? I love the big turnaround area.

TRWTOW,

Got a quote for a radiant tube heater, installed complete for the 64 x 42 shop right at $3100 from a solid local guy. Going to check around with a few other folks, but given the cost of the systems I have looked at $1900ish just for the tubes that may be a good quote.

FYI

I just started a thread on my build (which used a bit of concrete as well). I am on the Candian side by Port Huron, Mi. Do you mind me asking what a yard of concrete (standard 2500psi mix..or whatever) is worth? I made a couple calls to see about importing it because I heard the price was a lot lower in the US.

Thx!

Nice job. I just had a 30x50 Morton put up at my place. I wish I had the inside finished like you did though. Any tips for me? Would you have done the walls and insulation any differently?

I hear ya. I'm at the point where I am trying to decide what to use to cover the walls. I think I will do like you with the horizontal nailers. I'm leaning towards just using plywood on the walls. decisions...decisions...

Wow! I am very impressed.

What a delight it must be to step out your back door in the morning, with a cup of coffee in your hand and walk down that pathway.
