well i've crept long enough, so it's time to start a build thread. actually i tried before but couldn't post pics, so let's see how this goes. anyways, I bought my first house in january of 2012 and some would say i bought it for the garage.well most would say that. i have a detached garage which has a garage space of 24'x22', a side shop area of 10'x22', and a covered patio on the other side of 10'x22'. plus a second floor. once i get that patio area enclosed my garage will have 27 square feet more than my house and one more floor, so yeah it isn't a bad size. i have a lot of plans for it, but #1 was get the **** out and clean it up. that's done so now #2- new electrical which i'll start next week. anyways, here's some pics from the beginning... AND NO. security token missing, so i'll post them up later...

thanx. i plan on enclosing the patio to make another workshop type area. in the other side shop i'm going ot build a dividing wall. i do powder coating so it'll be nice to have an enclosed room. upstairs storage and maybe a little project area. i dunno. also thinking about a spiral staircase to get up there...

the bike is a '74 cb200, yeah yeah, it's my first one so i'm using it to learn to ride and work on. and the truck is bagged. gotta get the 220 ran ASAP so this winter it can get a new rear frame section and possibly a body drop. i'll try to get some updated pics tomorrow. all that crappy wooden shelving is gone due to A. very poor construction and B. the previous owner would leave the garage open for all the stray cats to have a place to sleep so they reeked of cat urine. the floor on the shop side still does...

That is a GREAT space! You're going to have a lot of fun there. And nice 200 - I was a Honda dealer when that bike was new - and I like the cafe racer read.
