I really like geetech brand through aliexpress, if you buy a handful of roles from a common warehouse you can get a variety for <10$ per roll. I've used them (PLA/PETG) quite a bit with no tangles and they come sealed/not fragile or absorbed with moisture.

This is SUPER YYMV but I have found the amazon returns bin stores (at least the one near me) almost always still has sealed 1kg rolls on their $5 day and sometimes on their $3 day as well. I have gotten about 10 rolls of different brands such as elegoo and a few others at that price. And that's with me only going on the $5 day like once a month.

Yeah, this thread gives me a headache, nothing but the cheapest garbage filament people can find lol. Elegoo is a bottom tier brand for Resin and 3D Printing.

I'll continue using Bambu Spools for $12.99 with RFID lol.

Bambu filaments are rebranded Sunlu filaments, the refills don't come with RFID spools, and $12.99 is only for the black Friday sale once a year. I have also ordered from them twice and it took over 2 weeks to arrive each time. That being said, when their refills are $12.99, I would list them here because it's a deal

I bought a bunch during the black Friday sale, and while the refills don't come with a spool, they still have and RFID chip. I just printed a bunch of spools myself and use them when the spools aren'tavailable, which is kinda the point of having a 3D printer right fellas!!

You do you, Chief. I'm getting great prints with my $7.80/kg PETG "garbage filament", and thats delivered! I learned to set the colors and filament parameters for the AMS display. The only problems I've had are all self inflicted from experimenting and there's no need to learn new things when RFID tags hold your hand!

Ok let's not get too heated over filament guys, that wasn't the purpose of me sharing my experience with Bambu. It's good to know there are options and I agree it smart to shop around as users like @Firstram have had great success with cheaper filaments.

My guess is that there are a few companies in China that all make the filament and repackage it for their customers. Deciphering who makes what and how you can get quality for less is a great idea.

When we ordered a bunch earlier this year, the inner cardboard ring had the RFID tag. These were refills, not with spools.
