3inch Garage lip/step With Racedeck

Hello. New to the forum here and I'm already garage envy of some of the amazing garages on this forum!!

I am remodeling my garage and want to install Racedeck flooring. My question is what do people use to cover the 3inch step that some garages have? Seem some leave it bare and just paint. Any other option? Thanks.

I ran across a similar inter-locking flooring called Garagetek. Are they made by the same company, and how do the compare to Garage trac/Racedeck quality wise?

Paint it or glue on that vynal step material for stair treads and the riser part can be covered with vynal coping

Great idea with the vinyl step material! My concrete is chipped on the edges so paint won't make it look too perfect.

Wow, 3 inch step ? That is not a step ....but a trip hazard. Think it over. JMO

Wish it wasn't there either, but it's just how the house came. Wouldn't be able to remove it without reconstructing the foundation which is not an option for me.

I have the same problem with my 3-car garage. Does anyone have any pics of a lip that was painted? Are they still using Racedeck tiles on the landing of the step, or are you painting the entire landing and only using Racedeck for the lower/main garage landing?

I cut/glued racedeck free flow on the step.
