CD spools are a perfect fit for your 4.5" grinding/cut-off/flapwheels...
And they fit in the Vidmar/file cabinet drawers neatly.

Depends on the type of CD. I usually use the CD's for rough work and then switch to a DVD-RW for that smooth mirror finish.

My buddy finds them on eBay, I think it was like 6 empty spindles for like $9 with free shipping or the like.
