After much consideration I tore down my existing 1939 2-Car which was in pretty bad shape. I live in an old neighborhood with limited space So I built a 4-Car Double Stack with an L-Shaped bump out for my shop area. We salvaged the brick form the existing garage since it is no longer manufactured and used it on the facade of the new garage. 868 sq/ft, 8' overhead door, 10.5 foot ceilings. I have already installed and piped my air compressor. I still need to finish the ceiling and storage loft and add a two-post auto lift and a PTAC for heating and cooling.

Very nice. I see you say double stack. Are you going to go with a double drive on 4 post or 2 singles? I am too looking at one of these myself in the near future.

I assume what he meant is it's a four car garage, with two rows of two.

Nice looking garage, you did a good job of matching the style of the old one. I'd think about adding a window in the gable end of the garage attic, to make it look more like the house. :)

You wouldn't happen to be in Minneapolis, would you? Your neighborhood looks very familiar.
