Yesterday was a day packed with action. Up early and to the shop. It felt good getting a lot done. I had to finish out some bumpers and a few other parts before lunch. After lunch a customer came in from out of town and Wade and I installed a 4 link mounting system on their Jeep YJ frame. This is a kit I make for the YJ. Pretty simple to install. We converted the from to a 3 link suspension as it will be used with mechanical steering versus full hydraulic. We removed one of the upper link boxes on the front. Fairly simple.

The suspension mounts are laser cut and formed on a press brake. The main structure is 1/4" plate. I do have some 3/16" plate in the assembly to box in all of the link mounts.

Is that kit for full hydraulic steering?

We modified the front to run a 3 link with mechanical steering. So no this one will not be full hydraulic. It will be hydraulic assist. He plans for more street driving and wanted the safety of mechanical linkage.

Do you guys make a CJ kit as well?

I have not made a CJ version yet. The issue with a CJ is the narrow frame rail width and packaging everything in a similar way. We are currently working on a TJ version of this kit. I may look at a CJ soon.

Understood. I had the opportunity to swap all my CJ guts, driveline and front clip onto a very clean '95 YJ tub and frame some years back but didn't. Still kicking myself. :)
