I have a 4 post asymmetrical lift. Many times with the car properly centered between the lift posts, the lift point on the car will be to far in to the post where I can't use the lift pad on the arm and actually lift on the arm closer to post with rubber puck. Other side arm can be extended or retracted usually to allow proper placement of arm lift pad on lift point on car. Many times, I have to center the car closer to one post than the other to get two valid lift points on the arms..... usually one arm using arm lift pad and other arm, I'm using shoulder of that arm to lift
This becomes a pain in the rear when on many cars I have to do this.........
