Welp, did a maybe stupid thing and bought a 4 post lift sight unseen. Its a complete 10k lb four post unit, bought through auction. Only details I have are that it's an "a-1" 10k pound lift. Now I haven't seen it yet, and won't be able to until Friday, but I'm curious if anyone in here has any thoughts? Just trying to track down an installation manual.

Cost wise it was 275cdn, so kinda hard to go wrong, includes a jacking beam with it as well, see the attached pictures.

Well, the place I linked in my post is Airdrie, 15 min away. Probably their dealer sticker.

And mind me asking where you can bid online for things like that?

Yeah sounds like that's either where they bought it, or who serviced it. I live in NE Calgary and I know where those guys are located now that I see their address.

Graham auctions is where I found this one, they had 3 others, which all went for cheap.

Not sure about the identity of the four post, but the two shorter yellow tubes/parts are definitely upper column extensions for an asymmetric two post lift. The rolling jack appears to be an old “WK Industries” air bag jack. Not sure if they are still around though. A good deal if you get all the correct parts, but, it looks like a boneyard of many different lifts so best of luck.

Got everything home, looks like a shop went out of business and sent everything to auction. Also looks like they boxes all the loose parts and put them on my lot number as mentioned. Brand is hydra-lift, built in Ontario, gonna try to find a manual and get it up and running.

Got a manual from an authorized parts distributor, and so far everything is there, and in actually pretty good shape. All pullleys, pins, nuts, bolts, cables are accounted for, along with extra parts (as mentioned) for a two post lift. Once I have everything assembled, I'll call the auction place I picked this up and tell them they put the two post lift parts in my lot and for the guy to come get them.
