I need advice on how to reset the cables onto their pulleys. I suspect all I have to do is loosen the large nut on the top of a post to create more slack, then put the cable back on its pulley. Has anyone had this issue and fixed it without a service call? I may be oversimplifying...certainly don't want to create a hornets nest of trouble by fiddling with everything...lol

came down on a couple wheel chocks when I wasn't looking ....

I have one of the Chinese clones and it came with some bolts as long as the height of the pulleys which get installed directly outside the cables adjacent to the pulleys to keep that from happening. So far I haven't had any such problems.

Loosen the nuts and slip cables back onto pulley then retighten nuts, measure the top of the tread to top of nut and tighten to same spec as this will affect your level/ parralel.

Inspect your cables before you just put it back in service. I had this happen on my 4 post. upon inspecting the cables. One had caught between the pulley and the cable keeper and frayed the cable about an inch long. Had to buy new ones.

loosened one of the big nuts on top of a post...took it all the way up to just fastened by a few threads. Could not slip cable over pulley...looks like I will have to completely loosen the cable to make the fix.

Also, those nuts are nylok locking nuts...what a pain to remove from a 3 inch long fine thread stud! I may switch to free runners with a jam nut for the future....thoughts?
