4 Post Lift Question

My ceiling is 9’ 10”. I have a 1970 Mercedes 250C and a 2019 Mercedes C 300. Can I put a lift in my garage WITHOUT removing concrete from the floor or redoing the ceiling?

Measure both floor to roof heights and add 6" and compare. Also make sure no fixtures hang lower than the ceiling.

Yes, but your under lift space is going to be less than ideal. Look at the manufacturers' sites to see how thick the lift is, ie: runner surface to lowest point of crossbars, then take your ceiling height less car on lift height to get how much you have left for clearance to get something else underneath, be it you or a car.

Don't forget to add a little extra for clearance to allow the lift to go up to clear/release the safety locks before lowering.

*Edit: I have a similar-height ceiling, and I was disappointed after doing the math in how little room I'd have underneath with a car on the lift.

Each car 56.75”. So 113.5” + 6”=~120” or 10’. So not feasible I guess.

Thanks I’ll look at that. I’m looking for an American made. I’ll pay more but at this point the other country (I’ll not mention it) can **** it!

You are never gonna be happy unless you get yourself more ceiling height. So save (or earn) a little more money and cut out some relief in the ceiling and get a full-size lift.
