I just moved into a new home that the garage has ten foot celling. How high will I be able to get a 1957 Chevy pickup truck to work underneath it? Also do you have to bolt the unit down. I have cables in my garage floor which I have been warned not to drill into it. Thanks for your help.

Just measure the height of the truck, let's say it's 70", then subtract that from your available ceiling height of 120", so you'd have about 50" underneath, but chassis is elevated by suspension, so you'd actually have another foot or so - about 60" total more or less. Of course, this is with truck right up to ceiling. You may have light or other obstructions stopping you from going all the way up.

Many 4-posters do not require bolting down. I ran mine for a short while with no bolts, but then had a mishap where I almost lost my truck off the lift, so I decided to bolt it down.....

Good luck

I had a Direct Lift installed in my garage last week. So far I am loving it.

Garage looks awesome.

I am hoping to get mine soon. I wanted to get it delivered and I wanted to install but they are charging $500.00 for delivery and install. That is $25.00 more than delivery from them and about the same for every other lift I had a quote from.
