Can someone please give me the approximate weight of each standard length runway? I'm taking down a lift that I bought. I have a crane on my truck to get it up in the bed. I'm just concerned about getting it out of the existing garage. I have 4 wheel dolleys that I can roll it on but it will be just me and one other guy disassembling it. Thanks Richie

I believe the one with the cylinder on my 8000 lb lift was around 480 lbs

When setting mine up, for the side with the hydraulic cylinder, it was about 400+ pounds. Three strong guys could lift it up (wasn't easy or light) to put it up on the crossbeams [use your legs!]

Depends on what lift we're talking about, as runway length, cylinder size, formed shape, thickness, etc. all vary. The one with the cylinder will either be really heavy or really, really, heavy. ;) On my XL 9k, two strong guys could not lift it safely.

I strongly recommend borrowing an engine hoist. 2 guys is not enough for the cylinder runway. Be safe

Better safe than... Was given the task of performing the final setup-adjustments on two brand new 2 posts many years ago. Made a point of being there when the lifts were installed. IIRC the inst crew consisted of 4 pretty big guys who made use of a large wheeled (eng type) hoist. Said crew did this for a living.

an engine hoist and two hf 12" dollies will move it. I moved my entire bendpak 4 post (all stacked and strapped together in one bundle) like that. just lifted each end with the hoist and dropped onto dollies and that was that
