Bendpak customer service is the worst dealing with a chrome plated ******* named Julio there and some other dumb **** I could show you s string of e mails that border on comedy but I’m not laughing they ****

Their service was so bad that when I was shopping for a lift, it took them so long to provide me with a quote for purchase, that when I finally got it, I had already had done my research and purchased my lift. Ohhh, and the quote provided was not what I had discussed with them.

If they are not excited to sell to me, they sure as hell would have a tough time making me believe that they want to provide any service.

My experience with Twin Busch and WildFire have both been excellent for any help I needed before, during and after my purchases from them.

I have had a direct lift for about 2 yrs. use it for maintenance and parking. The lift came with rollers and drip trays, I added a bridge jack, it works great with no issues, if it matters to you they are Ali certified. Mine is the model PP8spy11BKD(8000 lb.). I paid $2499 & I think the bridge jack was approx. $600 .

If it makes you feel better, I have literally the same problem.
If it makes you feel worse, I'm directly competing with you!
If I miss out on one, I hope it's because you got it.

I’m picking up a used Pro Park 8S PP8PPY11 8k Direct Lift this weekend. It comes with two Atlas RJ-35 center jacks that I don’t need so I will likely sell them. Seller used it for the last two years and bought it from a friend of a friend who used it for only a year or two prior.

I was ready to buy a new lift but happy to have found a used one that looks to be in good condition not terribly far away from me. Still assembled so I got to see it in operation prior to giving a deposit.

Nice score! I am shopping for a bridge jack for the Triumph lift and I'm not far from you (Raleigh area). Could you shoot me a pm when you are ready to sell one of them?

I have the Atlas 8000 from Greg Smith, got it with the jack and the accessories listed on the site. It's listed for $2595 with free freight (you will have to add the jack in if you want it) It stores cars most of the time and goes up and down maybe 2 times a month.

Same here, from Greg Smith. I bought the jack, but never used it, and sold it. I don't do much repair, just use for storage.

I purchased the Triumph lift, just put it together last week. Don't have much to compare it to but everything fit together we'll (no holes drilled in the wrong place, I know that is setting the bar pretty low, but have bought plenty of things that don't fit together without some extra cut/drill/grind) and assembly and adjustment was along the lines of what I have read for other lifts.

It lifts my little Triumph sportscar fine, I am glad I got the one I did, the shorter lift fits well in my garage, glad I didn't get the narrower lift from BendPack, as seems tight pulling a car under as is.

The instructions were ****, but I expected that, and YouTube and TGJ are your friend.

Door has been lifted, so this weekend is go time! There’s a really good video on Direct Lift’s site that will come in handy.

Did some digging and learned that my lift is older than the PO was told by the original owner. It’s a 2011. Doesn’t matter to me, as it’s in good shape and I’m happy with what I paid. And my lift is a Plus, meaning taller, but not longer, which they don’t make any longer. It’s standard or tall and long.

Parts ordered for pickup tomorrow to do the electrical as well (220v).

Looking forward to getting it together!9808e5ace2b5d0418d91c9e252a066d3.jpg

after researching i think i going to go with the atlas pro 8000, it seems to be in the low to mid price range and comes with alot of small extra things other lifts charge extra for.

RE: Castors, yeah, I am trying to find a place for them they in my suddenly more crowded garage. After reading comments here I think they get sent to the basement. I have no reason to move my lift.

I bought casters with my Bendpak but assembled the lift myself in the right place so I have never used them. It’s nice to know I could move it if needed, though.

I have had my Direct Lift 8000 lb 4 post lift since 2007. I have been totally happy with it. The only issue I had was that one cable had some slack in it and jumped the roller. It wore out the pulley roller which I had replaced. The crew that came out to fix it told me to always keep tension on the cables. He said when you lower the lift down to the locking position, hit the lift button several times until it just starts to move the lift and let go. This will ensure there is always tension on the four cables.

Two of us got it mostly together in just over 3 hours this afternoon/evening. Pretty damn happy with that. Tomorrow we need to add some odds and ends, tighten and level up, and wire the 220v over from my 2 post.

Test fit prior to bolting down. Finished up leveling and bolting it down last night. Awaiting door opener install tomorrow (hopefully) and then it’s done. bfd51ef90196f519e30d5867e7c654fa.jpg
