I'm starting to plan out my attack and I'd love to be able to do a 4 post lift in the back and a 2 post lift in front of it. I need to be careful how far forward I place the 4 post due to the stairs above.

The biggest thing I will probably have on the lift is a 66 GTO which is a little more than 17 feet long. I'm wondering how far forward the nose of the car will be in front of the lift? Does anyone have a pictures of how far forward something like a GTO would hang off? I'm thinking of the Bendpack HD‐9XL (Wide, Extra Long, Standard Height) which hopefully means the GTO shouldn't need to hang too much off the front of the lift.

The upper part of the stairs comes off the wall about 42" or so.

The extra long Bendpak is over 18.5 feet long, so I don't see why a 17' car would hang off at all.
You're not going to bolt the lift down, are you?
The beauty of a 4-poster is you can easily move it, so if you find yourself needing a little more room it's easy.

BTW, with that much ceiling height, how come you're going with the Standard Height? The walk under height of the 9XW is nice...
