What’s your budget?

Is the lift going to pick up twenty cars per day, like a commercial shop, or five times per month, like a home hobby shop.

I have a couple of Advantage lifts, a 9 k and an 11 k. No issues with them.

Is the floor level or sloped?

I'd definitely steer toward a 9K lift rather than a 8K for your intended vehicle usage; for runway length/width purposes more than capacity.

When I shopped for a 4 post in '20, I put together a spreadsheet of specs. The Forward EFP9 / DirectLift Pro Park 9 Plus won in the end.

I have had 2 BendPak lifts, a 4-post and a mid-rise scissor lift. BendPak has been terrific and I have had no issues. We are now building a new garage, (large) and we will put a 2-Post BendPak lift in that garage.

I also have a truck and I went with Advantage DX-9000-XLT. The extra length on the runways and the ability to adjust one side to a wider setting is great for trucks and suvs. Also the extra height is nice at 82-83” so you can park just about any stock pickup underneath.
