4 post lifts

I am looking for information on what type of 4 post lift to install in my two-car garage. Also need info on how to raise the door and opener closer to the ceiling.

Without knowing any of the dimensions you are working with regards to height etc. I would suggest using the "Search" tool here.
I have just installed a BendPak HD9XW 4 post in a garage that was designed for that purpose. I used Babco Tools out of BC Canada and have had no problems. I live at the other end of the country.(ON)
I chose the HD9XW for storage use, but also the ability to move the one rail in or out to facilitate dropping my Porsche engine.

I have a BendPak hd9xw as well, and I love it. As for the garage door, you can buy high rise track, and get something like a liftmaster 3800 jackshaft opener.
