Im finally looking to buy a lift and Im stuck on what to buy. Im looking for a lift that is STORAGE only lift. Lots of guys like Advantage/BendPak/Wildfire...but they are 50-60% more than a Triumph 4 post lift.

Anyone have any advice? Is it worth it to spend more for just storage? I dont plan on buying rolling jacks or anything like that. Im hoping to save the extra $1000-1400 and invest that into a 2 post lift.

Triumph 8,000lb 4 post lift is $1995
Bendpak 7,000lb $3200
Advantage 9,000lb $3300+shipping
Wildfire 9,000lb - $3200
Direct 8,000lb lift $2350 ALI certified

That $1300 pays for most of the 2 post lift to work on cars

You say it's for storage only, that might be what you have in mind but what happens if want to do more with the hoist? For me it's a live time investment so why not spend the extra money now, I have a BYB that I've owned for more 20 years with no problems. Good luck with your choice.

The Advantage lift great for storage. It's also great for maintenance. I've seen the stability of other named lifts and the Advantage Lift is the most stable. I wouldn't even consider the other brands now.

Lots of people talk about ALI certification, but I have no concerns about my lift. You get what you pay for, so if you go cheaper, you'll definitely know it.
