I have four 4" recessed cans in eyebrow above my 18x10 garage door new garage. Will 5700 lumen led bulbs work? They will be 11' feet high . I'm looking to wash the garage door with light. Here is pic of door.b0fe63049c479285489d20c992c87104.jpg

Look inside the recessed can, it will tell you what size/style lamp that will fit, then go from there on wattage ect

I know the size. My question is will a 5700 lumen bulb be enough lite. Home Depot has them on sale, equivalent to a 50 watt incandescent

I think thats fine. 4 bulbs together along the doors broadcasting should be fine.

I'm confused by the 5,700 Lumen number. I have a number of par-20 bulbs in 4" can fixtures and the bulbs put out approx. 500 lumen's each.

Despite all that - 4 LED bulbs should easily light that doorway.

Cheers

Depends on how bright you want it to be. Kinda hard to tell if your idea of washing the door with light is the same as anyone elses.

Try 'em and find out if they're to your liking.

More important is whether they are spot or flood. You want flood lights. You probably want the highest wattage that the socket can handle.
