4 tire inflation

In our automotive shop class in college we had an alignment rack with a scissor lift. On the operators station it had where you could set the front tire pressure and the rear tire pressure then just hook up the chucks and it was done. Has anyone ever seen a setup like this before? I did a google search and all I can find is basically a mechanical regulator with 4 connectors. I’m looking for something digital I can just set the pressures and come back a few mins later and it’s at that pressure. Thanks for any input as I am stumped.

Yep! ^^^ Coats Autoflate. $$$

Unless you're running a tire shop, unnecessary I think. It's good while you multi-task in a shop environment.

It does take a while to come up to the set pressure. It's faster to use an air chuck and gauge.

i thought about building something simple such as just a layout of 3/8 hose with some clip on chucks and this, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LY2IO6C/?tag=atomicindus08-20

THe only problem that i can come up with is if the tires are already at 40 pounds and i want to make them 35, will it bleed the pressure off or just not engage to allow flow. if the pressures are low i think this would be a great idea. However that machine is what im looking for but it would take my lifetime to pay it off in time saved. Thanks a lot guys!!

I have a similar rig that I made up for airing down/aring up at the beach. Length of 3/8" air line with clip on chucks at each end. In the middle is a manifold with a pressure gauge, schrader valve, and bleeder valve. Allows me to air down 2 tires at once, and at the end of the day I can inflate 2 tires at the same time also. It is at the beach house so no pics right now.

A buddy of mine made one as described above for airing off-road tires up and down. It is nifty, but I didn’t find it to be that much of a time savings.

I played with one and found it didn't save any time. With an accurate gauge, you really don't need it. The real time savings is a gauge with an inflator with fill and bleed valves on it.

could just set up a pressure regulator one for the front, and one for the rear with a tee coming out of the regulators and a set of hoses, and clip on chucks, one for each tire,

not electronic, but if over pressured I think most regulators will bleed off the excess,

I would guess if truing a knob or Tee handle, is to much I see there are some kinds of electronic regulators made.
