Wrapping up the wiring in my detached shop and have a question about 4 way switches for external lighting.
The shop has 3 flood lights. There are 2 man doors on the shop with a switch inside each door to the flood lights (not wired yet).
The attached garage has a single flood light on it's own switch (no 3 way), fed from the house panel. I want to tie all of the flood lights (house and shop) together so they can be turned on/off from the attached garage or either man door of the shop.
My question is the power source. Should I run power from the garage panel back to the house and remove the existing house circuit? Or can/should I power the shop lights from the existing house switch?

To be code compliant, I assume?
