I posted in the want to buy but I thought I might get more traffic here. Looking for info really. Model, part number etc.
This vise is nothing special around here I know and I already have a bullet on my bench. However it was free out of the scrap bin and a new new base would be excellent. I'd like to mount this on a small roll away I also got free and give the entire thing to my 8 and 10 year olds so they stay out of dads tool box.
The remaining piece of the broken base shown below at right.
Bottom with a similar Columbian vise swivel base attached.
The Wilton has no apparent markings other than "Wilton" and "4".
I believe at one time I found a new part somewhere on the web but don't recall where. Or where to start again. I do recall the new part was $45+ and I'm not dropping that kind of money on this little thing.
