Ok so i went and bought the $40 impact. Its a Snap On XT7100. I was really hoping that it would come with a boot but for this price I cant really complain. The guy was super nice and showed me his new impact which was a Ti2135 which he said is nice but not as good as he had thought it would be. Anyways I cant wait to find out what this thing will be like as far as torque but i also don't wanna wish for monday to come.

Good buy if it works good. The 2135TI will mop the floor with that XT7100. The TI is 20% lighter. I have 3 of the 2135TIs. Best impact wrench I've ever owned. I'd try it out soon. I'm always leary about used impacts. Most techs will wear them completly out before buying new. Did he demonstrate it for you?

The ti takes a few weeks to loosen up and really show its inner monster but I've found most namebrand air tools have parts readily available

The great part about the snap on impacts is the flat rate repair.

You can get parts for an IR very easily. Most Matco and Cornwell dealers can order IR parts. Most of Snap On's air tools are better off getting sent out to get rebuilt by any dealer and worth the money.
