I have the polished 1/4- 1 1/4 and 6-32mm NT combo wrenches and they have held up great over the past year. That was $80 well spent. I have been eyeing the larger sizes and have no reason to think they would not be of similar quality....especially on a wrench I dont use very often at all.

Ordering a set now that the price dropped. THANKS!

Dammit, wish these would have been on sale when I bought them months ago!

They are great wrenches at full price (and shipping cost), and so far have held up to all the abuse I can give them (which is a good amount, haha).

Allright, y'all have spent some more of my money. I just ordered a set. Thanks for the info and for posting the promo codes. At the rate y'all make me spend money, I need all the help I can get!

I like the striking wrenches when you get up to these sizes. Then again where I work there is plenty of room for a sledgehammer.
I will vouch for northern tool wrenches. Solid buy.

Not Taiwan made as it says in the Q&A. Made in China, and not made very well (off center broaching, all beat up and scratched).

I just received them 20 minutes ago, and my first thought was to return them. But I guess I'll keep 'em, they'll probably do the job.

Mine have one wrench that is a little off-center. When you get up to those sizes it really doesn't matter, since you're pretty much just beating on them with a hammer anyways.

I received my wrenches as well, they are BIG.. I am disappointed in the quality . This is the 2nd time in 2 orders Northerntools has lied on their website. Prior item I ordered IR portable air compressor and the Q&A said MADE IN USA. That was a lie and this is a lie, the Q&A on these wrenches said made in Taiwan.
I said it last time, but I mean it this time - no more Northerntool orders for me.

I have that set and a few of the ends have rough machining. I like the HF set better. I would trade them off if the opportunity came up.

I picked mine up today. They aren't bad for the price...I'm sure they will work just fine for the couple times a year I need them (where my 3/4" sockets won't fit).

My Northern had 2 shopping carts FULL of loose jumbo wrenches marked at 50%-60% off. All metric's (32mm and up) were $8 and all the SAE's (1-1/4" to 3") were $11. There were a ton of chrome 32mm wrenches for $5.

I'm surprised that you guys can complain about a set of wrenches that go up to 2" for $40. Go buy snap on for 1500 and be happy. Scratches? That will never happen when you use them... Yea right.

Damn, I wish I had one close to me!

Just to rub it in a little more, they wheeled out 2 more shopping carts full of 'normal' sized combination wrenches, stubbies, flex heads, and line wrenches that were on clearance when I went to pick up my order...
