I found a metal cart on craigslist and painted it to look like a Beta Supertank Trolley.

I want a supertank but it's more than $2000.

The cart was $30 and the paint was $8
It has US made casters by Faultless.
The slides are also US made by "KV"
It used to be a Steris Workstation I cart (used for sterilizing surgical equipment).

It didn't turn out as nicely as I had hoped, but it was cheap.
There is a rubber bumper on the bottom which I have to put on. It will be black.

Didn't turn out bad at all. Worst case you eventually get sick of it and 4 nice casters go in a box. ;)

Cool. Now did you wipe off all the blood and urine before painting? lol

Very nice. Now you have me trolling CL for rolling cabinets!

Maybe this is common knowledge but how were you able to get what appears to be the right shade of orange?

I put the rubber bumper back on the bottom.

I didn't make any real effort to color match. I just got home depot spray paint.
Rustoleum Painter's Touch Real Gloss Orange.
This is very good paint, but it didn't come out as glossy as I had hoped.

Do you guys think I should make an attempt at recreating the logo. I can't find any stickers or decals.

This would double your budget but I would have a decal made that copies the wrench logo and then use the same font with some other word like "Mega" or "Mike". Of course, "Mike" might not work as well for you as it does for me...:)
