No the property is 330 feet long at a 6% slope.. The 100 year high is only about 25' high still few hundred feet from the house

Heated from is working, still needs some wiring details. But I like IT!!

Insulation Done, Vapor Barrier 99% Done, What a b#tch that was!!!
Put some Ram Board on the floor to protect the Polished Floor and decided to cover the shop also..
Popped up a little shed out side to put **** in while the drywall guys are. Im not doing that

I am absolutely in LOVE with this! It was said before but this is a retirement dream home! Bravo man, bravo.

That said ***** about the framing screw ups but I am really happy to see your take on it, I'm sure you had some choice words to say when you figure it out but yeah, not much to do about it now.

The radiant heating is great. I live in Alabama and considered doing that but the cost and lack of need for constant heat the majority of the year lead to me deciding on a wood burning stove instead.

Yes its a retirement home. We presently bought the lot next door and will be building a home on the lot also. So we can Rent one or the other out for the week or weekends

The plastic shed is to hold everything in while they drywall, mud and texture and we paint. Then it may farther out and put the rider in it??

Drywall, Textures, Primes and painted then painter again. The grey was to dark
Know its so bright it almost hurts you eyes

Plus we had to find the light outlet the drywall guys covered

Its really hard to Run Two Company's and build a house three hours away from your home and stay up to date with Facebook and this forum. I say every time ill do better...
Heres some updates. Goals are to finish kitchen in two weeks and finish the siding ASAP so I can get my Final Inspection and a occupancy permit.. Checkered Flag!!

First Update Concrete Around the house

Then the Kitchen Cabinets Came and I picked up a set of Used one for the garage on a Labor day or something day sale for 50% off

Appliances, Bathroom tile and Washer and Dryer In

Ordered 19 Pallets of retaining wall brick and arranged to barrow a Sky-lift Forklift to unload and after several pallets it blew a hose (Main Artery) So we unloaded 6 to 8 bricks in the garden tractor and ran them down the driveway and unloaded them one by one

I feel your pain on the retaining wall blocks, been there done that. I have always said that the reason the landscape guys charge so much for those walls is because they are such back-breaking work it install. Sure is a lot of satisfaction in looking at the completed project and knowing that you did it yourself (even if every fiber of your being is hurting).

On a completely unrelated note, I had to make a quick run out to the basin a few Friday's ago to meet a guy to buy a motorcycle seat from him. On the way home, between Ritzville and Sprague, I passed a pickup with a big ole Hager Motorsports decal in the rear window. Took a second for it to register, and then it was like, oh yeah I remember why that name sounds familiar!
