40 x 60 pole barn time lapse

Hi all,

I thought you might enjoy seeing my building go up. It's a proline 40x60 pole barn that I had built in late 2011. The video is a time lapse of the approximately week of construction.

It's a never ending project in itself. Concrete driveway and floors are in now along with 100+ feet of sidewalk, and just finished hard piping in the air compressor last weekend.

That's cool . . . crew is really efficient and use of Skyjacker with the floating scaffold is how they are so fast.

GJ just loves PICS of new builds, so take ton of pictures of inside progress, including airline system, electrical, insulation, lighting, heating, etc.

Update GJ Profile with City / State as it helps put a location with style of build that you're doing.

Were those perma-columns or some other hybrid to install poles ??

The poles are built up of three boards, rather than a single beam. Green treat in the ground, and plain lumber above ground.

Very cool. I wish I woulda done something like that to watch mine being built. I'd run home @ lunch time to get a few mid-day pics, but they were so fast that I missed a lot of the progress.
