those garage door dips, can be a pain sometimes. Yours are a little different than mine, mine sometimes gets dirt and water sitting in it. And if its winter time I've had the rubber seal on my door freeze in the dip, then rips when the garage door opens it:wtf:
Yours looks like it is even with the front entrance pad, so it should be easier to keep clean.
You putting windows on the side facing the river?

We have a pretty mild climate so hopefully (fingers crossed) I don't have the freezing issue happen! I will definitely have to be mindful of that for sure.

Yeah, we have two 4/0 windows at eye level and then I have 6 2 x 8 windows about 12' up from the ground all the way around except for the side where the doors are.

Framing starts today so I should have some more pics up soon!

Can I ask why you didn't just run a double top plate all around instead of blocking for the trusses?

I am editing this after getting some clarification. We did do a double top plate AND we did the blocking to make the truss setting go much quicker.

looks like you live close to a church?

Yeah, there is one on the adjoining lot. To be honest, we spend most Sunday's on the river boating as a family & our boat is actually named Church for that reason! :)

looks awesome. building doesn't look that big against the landscape until you see a picture with one of the workers standing along the wall.

What is the name of the product you used on the roof instead of tar paper?

Its called Titanium UDL30. Very similar to tyvek almost but its nice for walking around on as its very grippy even when wet & we can have it on until its warm enough to shingle.

Concrete was probably over 10k??, everything's expensive, even dirt and drinking water cost money. Whats this world coming too...?:)

The boat, snowmobiles & other assorted toys will live there. Don't know much about turning wrenches, but I have never had a place to do so. But now I will!

Got the back and most of the other gable done today plus got my meter base set.

My uncle even did my wifes special trim request around the meter base. I don't think my guys are too happy with her not going with square trim. :)

Im curious about the concrete. Here in the Treasure Valley I have been quoted $150 to $180 per yard. Mind if I ask what you paid per yard?
Thanks

For a 6 sack mix it was $110 and then depending on our needs for the day for accelerator or hot water it was a little more up to maybe $118/yd
