holy **** what a small world we live in. We have a house on the river literally right down the road from you. Its the pink house on the point at the mouth of north creek. Also have property in Hyde county between rose bay and the lake. Ill be down there a lot more during duck season. Good luck with the build!

Well get up with me. My friend has a few hundred acres in Hyde country. Only get to it by rock road. Bumps up to the water. We go down there and have a good ole time. I am down there on the weekends in NC. I'm trying to think what road the house Is off of. My aunt owns that crab dock down there on the creek .

I was hesitant about it to start with. The first build here was with it in the roof only, later I added it myself. My G/F is an engineer and she liked it so much, when the tornado took everything down, she had it put back all over and in her horse barn too. I used the F/B/F, it reflects the light also and made a heck of a difference. I've been installing it with silicone and sticking it to the underside of the horses run-in sheds. It's a good bang for the buck. FarmTek had some at one time in 8ft x 125ft rolls, but the other place was a better price per sq/ft. the nicest thing about, it does itch!
Going to give it more thought. Might be a lot easier than what I planned on doing.

Take a left our of your drive, take the next right on to Island View and the next left onto Pinecrest. Our driveway is down in the corner where the road meets the river. I think our lot is technically called cousin point if you look at it on google maps.

Had my brother pick my building permit up yesterday. They issued me an address to my property which allows me now to get a water tap put in. Heading down this weekend to work and dove hunt.

Waiting on the state to put a tile drain in so I can put a road in that goes straight back off the main road. Wasted about 2 loads of dirt in the other road that I never intended on keeping. Oh well.

Digging holes Sunday. My "plan" is putting sonotubes covered in heavy plastic in the holes. That way I can dig holes a day or two before my materials get in. I'm on a timeline and only have 7 days to work on it. So this will give me a head start.

I hope it's not raining there like it is down here.

It has been spotty from what I see on the radar. I'm up in VA right now. It is suppose to rain Tuesday heavy which is my delivery day. My pops works for Jack Farrior out in Farmville btw. I go out that way every now and then.

Did you come to the BSA Wild Game cookout they had at the Fairgrounds this past year? A couple of my neighbors keep their planes at the same airstrip he does. Next time your out this way, stop by, I'm only about 10 minutes from Jacks shop.

I was In TX up until May timeframe. Yeah my pops in law has been with them for 15 or 20 years. I will have to get up with ya some time. The Doug Henry dealer there needs to fix my wife's Tahoe still. So I need to head that way. I'm about an hour and 20 away. Beaufort county.

I can't wait to get that part done. Long ways away. Did see some nice bear tracks in the area today. Deer, fox, and yotes are all over the game cams.

Last spring we saw something in the river swimming toward our house. Thought it was a large dog at first but once it got near the dock we saw it was a large bear. Climbed up onto bulkhead and rested for about 10 mins then went off into the woods. Craziest thing I have ever seen.

I'm 6.1 miles from there, 10 minutes.
