40'x60' floor need Footings?

I've been building a 40'x60' for needing concrete,have a 42" drop off at the 20'x40' area,should I need 36" footings along all walls?Putting 1 -1/2" foam insulation under crete,thanks 5-1/2" concrete floor with rerod' (Midwest)
