I'm looking through the forum at lighting but thought I would try to start oa thread tailored to my shop build and see what kind of feedback I can get. I'm struggling navigating through the lighting options available to me and torn between the high bay style vs. non, as compared to a combination of the two. I have a main shop area that I need lighting that will be mounted high up, which is where the three 12x14 doors are. Where the 9x8 door is, will be a second floor added in later which is what the windows in the wall above are about, so lighting here will be interesting, and will be changed around later when i add the second level inside. Please share your thoughts of what might work good in this application and what kind of fixtures you have experience with, when mounted at 18 feet. I'm making considerations for high bay dome LED's in the main floor, and T5 type around the perimeter and between bays, just not entirely sure what makes sense and what ratings of fixtures to run. Lighting is complicated.....
