Do you want pictures of the door framing or the framing of the porch?
The wood on the bottom of the outside is treated ground contact lumber, on the inside is concrete, the outside is backfilled with dirt.

Door framing please. Did you pour the concrete right up to the skirt boards?

Also, I forgot to say that looks great.

Here's the only picture I have of the door from the inside.
Yes the concrete is poured up against the skirt board.

Awesome shop build, I'm curious how you got the top frame sections up there? Being a one man show I'm looking for ideas

Used a truck that had a crane on it, made a spreader bar and lifted the trusses into place.
It took 4 people to operate the truck, guide and install the trusses.

May I ask who you used for concrete and were they reasonable?

I'm in Warren County (Lebanon/Springboro) and will probably start my journey this summer...

The structure looks outstanding...nice job.

I had a question. The double support member that the engineered trusses are sitting on.....how is this fastened to the posts? Is it just nailed? I can't tell from the pics if there are larger fasteners like maybe some through bolts.

Nailed to secure it at first, then 2 galvanized 10"x1/2" carriage bolts, nuts and washers at each post. (per County building code)

I scavenged the tops from a dumpster at work, they removed the legs for scrap and were throwing the tops away and I just couldn't let them go to waste.

Great looking shop.. and great looking place. The whole lot looks nice, drive, grass, all of it.
I'm building a new house on 10 acres, that already has a kind of ugly 24x36 pole barn on
it, with a dirt floor. You have given me some hope to make that ugly duckling look nice.

They are 12 feet high and 10 feet wide.
All three were puchased at Menards, they are Industrial doors made by Ideal.
I installed all of them and they weren't that big of a job, but you will need some help as some things are awkward.
