Here's my garage. Been working to finished it out lately. Should finish the paint and re-install all the shelving by the weekend. Probably going with Gladiator cabinets over the work bench with the TV and Stereo between the cabinets.
The floor is an open issue. Looking at Epoxy if I can't come up with something better for a good price.
I installed a tray ceiling for the 4 post lift that's coming. I have 10 foot ceilings but wanted a little extra over the car to be able to go full height on the lift with no worries. It also breaks up all that length of sheetrock overhead.
Garage is insulated, and has heat and ac, adding water this spring. It's 24' x 44' with a floored attic and pull down stairs at each end.
When I run out of room I'll have to remind myself that it's bigger than the house I used to live in. Nicer too.

Floor update

I talked with my flooring buddy yesterday. While he doesn't do Epoxy he has contacts that do and send work each others way. I have 3 bays and about 900 sq. ft to floor inside and 100 covered sq. ft. outside. He did not recommend the wife and I epoxy coating that much floor ourselves. He didn't think the short pot life of epoxy would be good for us first timers and we would have to section how we did it. He didn't think we would get the color to match section to section as it would take a couple of weekends for us to coat it all as well. He also thought my cracks would show badly using epoxy unless I went with the flakes. The small outside section he thought we could do.
He recommended his professional buddy for the inside and estimated the cost at close to $2 a sq. ft. $2.50 using flakes in it.
I showed him a picture of Mike's I printed and asked about doing it that way. I originally wanted a solid border with contrasting solid inserts in the bays. Epoxy or Tile. He recommended the checker board pattern like Mikes to help hide the highs and lows of that long of a floor, 44 feet. To much solid and you would see the floor as wavy.

Conclusion, for us we'll probably go with the checkerboard tile for the 900 sq. ft. The 100 sq. ft. outside we will do ourselves. The tile job will run $1.25 a sq. ft. installed but I will have to grind and fill the cracks with a latex filler.
He did recommend I cut some 1/4" plywood squares to put under my jack stands and jack wheels. Coat the floor with a heavy duty wax that's buffed in and the floor should hold up fine, just don't abuse it.
Think I'll check to see if I can get some urethane wheels to change out on my jack and engine hoist. Creeper, motor stand, work cart and tool boxes all have rubber casters.
I still have to wait a month or longer before doing anything to the floor as the concrete temps need to be at least in the 60's for either type flooring.

I've looked at and walked on the race deck. I thought it looked great but it snap, crackled and popped when walking across it. I just didn't like that plastic feel about it. Maybe it was the installation of it but with a large uneven floor, I'd think it would do the same in my garage.
