Well....

I'll start by saying: The garages in this forum blow me away.

I wish I had a garage. I plan on building one, as soon as I can afford to build, until then i'll make due with my 11'x13' basement shop and the driveway for welding and grinding although its seasonal.
The workshop is a work in progress, slow, but progressing....
Probably the smallest shop in Garage land.:D

The shop may be small but I can still get work done....

Thanks guys! :)

The bumper is a fun build, its taking longer than it should.
Finding free time, weather conditions for welding and moving tools from the basement to the driveway is time consuming. Waiting, just ramps up my desire to building, it's the anticipation. I'm not in a rush right now, the bumper is going on the truck in the spring. I'm still designing a swing out tire carrier and side bedside protection over the winter, cutting and dry fitting ready to weld in the spring. The truck is going through a big change come spring.:bounce:

I bought the bender at Princess Auto Canada. That's the only store I know of that sells this type of bender. It comes with 6 different dies for bending round stock, flat, angle iron, square. There are two mystery dies I've yet to figure out. The bender is a great tool, it gets a lot of use. Pretty heavy duty. I plan on modifying it possibly install a hydraulic cylinder to help save my back. I would like to build my own custom dies. Well worth the money.

That is a tiny space, but neat as a pin- looks like you get some good work done.

Did you build that rack to go on top of your truck? Looks nice.

a good use of space and indeed some good fabrication skills there

Thanks guys!
I have a lot of fun building this stuff.

Yup! Its a small space :D.
I have to keep it neat in order to do anything, it's challenging and take up time, but I'm a neat freak when it comes to shops.
There is a storage room 4''x13'' behind the door with the Last Chance Garage sign, I' thinking about taking the wall down milking what little space there is, I don't know, I'm still thinking about it.

The roof rack tray is another work in progress, yes I built it. Still needs some refinement. I have some crafty tricks up my sleeve for this build, it involves pneumatics :D I can't spill the beans on this idea just yet.

There has been a lot of interest in the bumper.
I've been asked if I thought about producing the bumper.... it is a possibility! Different process but same design. You never know.... If I can be convinced there is a genuine interest, it's a real possibility. I would modify the design for other 4x4 truck currently on the market. I'd start with Tacoma's and 4Runners. The biggest setback would be commercial shop space. I don't think the neighbourhood would appreciate a bumper production line in the driveway. LOL :boxer:
