I have a 32x32 garage 9ft 6inch ceiling western direction mounted overhead doors 16 ft door and a 8ft overhead door. I have water line coming in on northwest wall. I was originally going to mount horizontally and put the burner towards the overhead doorsbeacause of the burner being at that end I thought would be better for waterline. But i have seen alot of 45 degree mounts in other videos mainly Joshthegasfitter installs and I know its super cold in calgary. I have a spaceray cb50 u tube radiant heater. Just want your thoughts or experiences with either mounting location. I can mount it either way with no problems. Just trying to maximize effectiveness. Thanks I'll post pics soon

I'm still trying to figure out what you want to angle. I'm sure it is clear in your mind but your words do not convey the pictures in your mind. Try being specific what you want to angle and why. What are your desired results?

due to the relatively low ceiling, I would mount it at 45 degrees on one of the ceiling corners. This should give you the best overall coverage of the entire space.

9'6" ceilings will severely limit your application. Check the required clearances on the heaters you're looking at. Most require ~18" clear on top, meaning your heater is at 8' above finished floor.... which is too low.

Also, there's no such thing as 'uniform' radiant heat from ceiling mounted heaters. They'll heat up what they can "see", and not heat up much else. Your certainly not going to get uniform heat out of a single heater.
