Super deal at an estate sale yesterday. About 85% made in the USA vintage tools, a few snap-on, lots of Cornwell, a few MAC, SK and Indestro, a Dunlop ratcheting wrench, a 1930's Craftsman ball peen hammer, a really cool Bonney wrench and of course the 17 in. Kennedy Cantilever

Hi Ducks,

What will I do with them? Well, first, I'll clean each tool. I like to use Mothers Mag Wheel polish. After that, I'll fill in a few missing sockets from my main set. Add anything to my main tool box that I don't already have. If anything would be an upgrade to an existing tool, I'll make the swap. I'll make some additions to my other remote tool kits and the rest......add them to my growing inventory for later sale or trade.

The Mom directed her son, a just graduated high schooler, to take me to the shed where "that dirty, old, rusty box" had been sitting for years. The son accepted my first offer of $20.00 and also carried it to my truck for me.

lol, that's what tools are to the average everyday f--kwit. Then when something breaks or needs upgrade, they bust out the check book and write checks for hundreds or thousands to guys with tools.

It's totally Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
