German-Hand-Tools is offering GJ members 45% off on all Felo products from the 2013 Felo USA catalog. This offer is for this weekend only beginning 4-13-03 to 4-14-03 11:59 pm pacific time. To view Felo catalog and a retail price sheet please visit http://www.german-hand-tools.com/catalog.html. If preferred I would also be able to email you the catalog and price list. To find out your price multiply .55 by the retail price on the Felo price sheet. To clarify this is not 45% off of my website pricing but 45% off of Felo retail pricing.

Keep in mind that we are not making anything on this deal, this is just a promotion we have set up just to show our appreciation to GJ and to GJ members. Orders will be shipped from our location or may be drop shipped from the manufacturer. These orders will take 3-4 days to process and will not fall in our same day processing category. All tracking numbers will be emailed to the customers when items are shipped.

To qualify for this deal you must have a minimum of 15 posts, have been registered as a GJ member before today’s date 4-12-13, and reside in the USA. You must email me your GJ member name with list of items you would like to order at [email protected]. I will email you back with an invoice with in 24 hrs, which will give you the option to pay with credit card or PayPal. Shipping charges will be actual cost and may be shipped FedEx or USPS.

Please email me your address so I can calculate shipping charges.

California residents will be charged 8.5% sales tax.

If you have any questions please email me or call me. Thanks Ash

Really nice looking tools. I'd be interested, but it's tough cross referencing from the catalog to the spreadsheet. I'll try in the morning when I'm sitting at a desk with 2 monitors and see if it's any easier :-/. But super cool to offer this to GJ members! I'll try to find something I need.

if you guys have never dealt with Ash/ German hand tools you will not be let down.

I have placed several orders with ash and not once have I been anything less than satisfied. Also Felo tools are top notch. My favorite brand of screwdrivers, the ergonics are extremely comfortable.

Are all of Felo tools made in Germany? Including the sockets/ratchets?

As far as I have been told all are made in Germany. 90% of the tools have made in Germany on the tool itself and the other 10% which includes the sockets only say it on the packaging.

Thanks Ash, I think this is finally the time that I will buy some German tools.
I am interested in a quality bit set, what is the largest, most complete set available?

So just to clarify, this is 45% off the listed retail price and not 45% off your website pricing?

so many tools.
any suggestion which are the best to buy? I have a set of screwdriver already.

It is really hard to say they are all very good. Felo is one of my favorite German tool brands and I personally own quite a bit of their tools. On top of the great quality their warranty is one of the best I have seen.

45% off the listed retail price is very close to the website price. Not a big deal.

ITEM # 53711 $15.99 (website price) Felo Ergonic 1/4" Bit Driver 438

Special Offer price: $9.46

.....seems like a good deal to me.

Thank you for the link. I should have mentioned I don't need any torx screwdrivers. Do they have a set without the torx in all the different lengths?

Thanks!

They have quite a few different sets but mainly come in 5 or 6 pieces. If you wanted all different sizes you would have to add single screwdrivers.

Damn, I have like $200 in bondhus gear I want, I wish this deal applied to that. Doesn't Felo stuff ship from bondhus in the US?

I would be interested in a purchase but finding the suggested retail price of any Felo products is nearly impossible. You have already said that your website isn't retail pricing. Then I checked the Felo PDF catalog on your website, "Felo_Catalog2.pdf" and there are no prices. So then I checked Amazon and they have both retail and current available prices. Is the retail list price on Amazon accurate?

Where are these retail prices you mentioned so I can accurately calculate the 45-percent price reduction?

EDIT: With currency prices fluctuating like it has recently, the Euro is down in relation to the falling dollar, I can understand why retail prices are not easy to find but would still like to know the reduced prices before I buy. If the Euro keeps falling then it might be better to wait.

Thanks,
Steve

You were looking at the European catalog. There's a link for the pricing below the U.S catalog:

http://www.german-hand-tools.com/files/FELO_2013_LIST_PRICING2.xls

If you don't have Excel, send me your email and I'll make a .pdf of it for you.

No, I was looking at the Felo page. There is only one catalog on that page. I got the pricing now, and multiplying retail prices by 0.55 (1.00-0.45) looks like it is basically "free shipping" off of his regular prices. Amazon does that on prices over $25. Like I said, I think I'll wait for the Euro to fall lower in the future.

Thanks,
Steve

These prices are pretty fair, our local Felo retailer has great pricing and this definitely beats it. You probably won't find a consistently better pricing on ALL Felo, maybe just one here or there.

I recommend everything BUT the blue-handled drivers, I actually prefer the red/black ones to the Ergos... they are my primary driver and very reasonably priced.

The Felo E-Pro is a nice set as well, and Felo's insert bits are top-notch.
