My garage is right around 890 sf with 10' ceilings and insulated. Has 3 small (2' x 2') windows, 2 - 9'w x 8'h overhead insulated doors and 1-36" insulated man door

I was all set to buy this 75000 BTU heater from Northerntool for $479 and see that they just lowered the price of this 45000 BTU heater to $399

Could I get by with the smaller heater for that size garage, or should I just spend the extra $80 for the bigger heater? The 45000 is actually $95 cheaper when including shipping

I heat 1100 sq. ft. with a gas-fired radiant tube heater rated at 80K... way to big. Shoulda bought a 50K... the 80k will melt your face.

Thanks for the tip! I just purchased the 45K for $424.99 almost a month ago for my 850 sq. ft. garage. I am going request a refund for the 25 bucks in the morning.

FYI, hooked my heater up last weekend. Runs great so far. But the real test will be this winter in Michigan.

Regards,
Dwayne
